ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT Physical education teacher training programs in Chile have a high demand for enrollment and is recognized as one of the attractive professions for young people. The purpouse of this study is to know the reasons that lead young Chileans to choose the physical education teacher training program at a regional university, in the Maule region, Chile. The research was a mixed sequential one, since it was characterized by a first stage, where quantitative data were collected and analyzed, followed by another, where qualitative data were collected and interpreted. At the quantitative part of the study 146 students (54 female and 89 male) answered a questionnaire, and at the qualitative part 6 students (3 men and 3 women) participated in a focus group interview. Previous participation in sport, interest related to a physically active lifestile, and the pleasure of teaching are shown in the results. As conclusions, the students choose to enroll in a physical education teaching program motivated by previous sports and physical activity experiences, and the desire to teach values through sport.


RESUMO Os programas de formação de professores de educação física no Chile têm uma grande demanda por matrículas, e a profissão é reconhecida como uma das mais atrativas para os jovens. A proposta deste estudo é conhecer os motivos que levam jovens chilenos a escolherem o programa de formação de professores de educação física em uma universidade regional, na região de Maule, Chile. A pesquisa foi sequencial mista, pois se caracterizou por uma primeira etapa, onde foram coletados e analisados dados quantitativos, seguida de outra, onde os dados qualitativos foram coletados e interpretados. Na etapa quantitativa do estudo 146 alunos (54 mulheres e 89 homens) responderam a um questionário e na etapa qualitativa 6 alunos (3 homens e 3 mulheres) participaram de uma entrevista de grupo focal. A participação anterior em esportes, o interesse relacionado ao estilo de vida fisicamente ativo e o prazer de ensinar são mostrados nos resultados. Como conclusões, os alunos optam por se matricular em um programa de ensino de educação física motivados por experiências anteriores de esportes e atividades físicas, e o desejo de ensinar valores por meio do esporte..

ABSTRACT

El movimiento de la Reforma Universitaria de Córdoba en Argentina, a un siglo de su proclamación, constituye un referente obligado al abordar el tema de la función y proyección social de las Universidades y en especial la cubana. El propósito del presente trabajo es realizar un análisis crítico del significado, trascendencia y vigencia del mismo en el contexto de la Universidad cubana contemporánea, con énfasis en el proceso de Extensión Universitaria en la Educación Médica cubana revolucionaria. Se realizó una exhaustiva revisión bibliográfica y documental, con énfasis en el análisis de artículos y documentos sobre el tema en cuestión a partir del uso del método histórico-lógico, el cual permitió discurrir entre los hitos fundamentales del devenir histórico de dicho proceso reformista. La autora considera que este movimiento posee una connotación especial en el contexto que se refiere, el cual marcó cambios esenciales en los aspectos teórico-conceptuales, prácticos y de valores en la formación de los profesionales de la salud cubanos a partir del modelo de formación, así como la proyección social y humanística que caracterizó la etapa revolucionaria, por lo que amerita significar en el devenir histórico sus aportes como un digno homenaje en su centenario (AU).


The movement of the Cordova University Reform in Argentina, after a century of its proclamation, is an unavoidable reference when approaching the theme of the function and social projection of the Universities, specially the Cuban one. The purpose of the current work is carrying out a critical analysis of that movement's significance, transcendence and force in the context of Cuban contemporary university, emphasizing in the university extension process in the Cuban revolutionary medical education. An exhaustive bibliographic and documental review on the treated theme was carried out using the historical-logical method that allowed discussing the main landmarks of the historical development of that reforming process. The author considers that movement has an special connotation in the referred context, which led to essential changes in theoretical-conceptual, practical and values training of Cuban health professionals, beginning with the training model, and also the social and humanistic projection characterizing the revolutionary period; therefore, it deserves explaining the meaning of its contributions in the historical development as a worthy homage in its centenary (AU).

ABSTRACT

La preparación de los docentes es una labor continua y sistemática en la educación superior. Esta comprende aspectos didácticos y pedagógicos en el proceso docente educativo como vía para alcanzar la formación integral de los estudiantes. En tal sentido, se diseñó un curso de pedagogía que contó con 7 profesores en condición de cursistas, egresados de la formación tecnológica en salud, y se exponen los resultados del proceso de preparación de estos profesionales


Professors preparation is a continuous and systematic work in the higher education. This comprises didactic and pedagogic aspects in the teaching educational process as a way to reach a comprehensive training of the students. In that sense, a pedagogy course with 7 professors as lecturers was designed, graduated from the health technological training, and the results of the preparation process of these professionals are exposed

ABSTRACT

Este artículo pretende realizar una reflexión en torno a la transferencia como concepto nodal para pensar el proceso educativo. La autora utiliza como método el rastreo documental para conceptualizar la transferencia y hacer un análisis del rol docente desde las particularidades de dicho concepto y la teoría que lo soporta: la transferencia imaginaria y la simbólica, su relación con los ideales y con la labor pedagógica. La autora concluye que la labor docente debe hacerse desde la transferencia simbólica y que el docente debe estar muy atento a las inmersiones de su propia historia subjetiva en la relación con el estudiante.


This article aims to reflect the transference as a nodal concept to think about the educational process. The author uses a documentary conceptualizing method to trace the transference and to analyze the teacher's role from the point of view of the particularities That such a concept is able to bring out to the theory: imaginary transference, symbolic transference, its relationship with the ideals and with the pedagogical work. The author concludes that the teacher's work must be done since the symbolic transference and that this professional has to be noticed of the merges of his own subject history within the relationship with the student.
